petone 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 does a rollcage count as show or go? that depends on the reason you have one doesn't it?Could say the same thing about bigger wheels, I want to go bigger for handling reasons but most get alloys for the looks. Dnz 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Bit of both. But ultimately performance is king. Ultimate driving machine and all that. I'd rather be all go and no show, than all show and no go.
ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 You've gotta have some go, exhaust, headers and a manual box, POD filter (heat sheilding of course) that would be suffice, i mean there are speed limits and unless it is a track car there isnt much point in having a go nuts beast. Yet New Zealand roads arent exactly the best for good looking cars, especially expensive wheels when pot holes get the better of them. But hey all to their own, id rather a car that looks good.........
westy 614 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Fuction before form! Form usually takes care of itself once the function is sorted anyways. Still rather a fast ruster than a mint diahatsu

Dnz 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Dont mess with the henna.. haha It was surprisingly shiny. Handling might perhaps own speed. Id go 45% handling 35% Speed 20% looks..

localdevdas 2 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 ok maybe im a bit alone in this........but i seriously prefer my car looking good than making it go like stink. i mean, bimmers are pretty quick, faster than the average camry or accord we see anywayz, and besides, even you get a chance to put your foot down hard, to get to the next set of red lights! well, dats how it is in west auckland anywayz.... the 318iS i've got isnt a fast car, and sometimes i wish I had just dat tad more performance. but im happy with da money i spend on my car's looks, coz when you drive down queen street on saturday nights, and guys out of everything from integra type-r's to evos look at you, you know dats money well spent! You get my respect damian.Bimmers aint about looks, theyre about performance. All show and no go is utterly lame. If youre an attentionwhore, perhaps a big bore exhaust and some neons might be a 'good' suggestion? Seriously, its lame spending money purely on looks. I mean 99% of the time you drive the car, not LOOK AT IT.
