smokenbaby 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2005 (edited) The guy needs his head read. It is impossable to have an E30 as low as he has and still have any suspension movement on the back. If the set-up was the best dogs bollocks then the factory DTM and Groupe A cars would have been set up that low. He will also find out very quickly that MANZ (NZ Motorsport) Will not allow him to race at the ride height in any tin top class (Other than clubmans maybe) as they have a minimum ride height. This is measure by removing the air out of both wheels on the same side of the car. Nothing on the car is allow to touch the ground other than the tires. Plus, if he is real lucky to have any movement in the rear, he will have such a short stroke on the rear shocks/spring that would deam themuseless as they wont even have the time to dampen the bump/rebound. The springs would look more like a bent piece if wire and nothing like a spring. Good for him, we just might be rid of another dropkick on the roads. Palazzo 477 Report post Posted August 22, 2005 Best I can measure it, the convertible is now 110mm (to underside of sill rails) and on a trip down to Raglan on the weekend, I was having to drive around dead possums to save the front spoiler. 50mm?? What a tool! Or a liar?
