Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Avant thoughts?

still searching for a wagon

any thoughts on a B6 version of the audi line?

a 2002 model

Always a good choice, Quattro system is pretty good. Haven't had experience with the 3.0L engine though. From my experience, a mechanical warranty is definitely advised.

Definetley get a warranty! Nice cars, good build quality but when they break they aren't cheap.

its done 190kms and ill be paying about 9k for it.

i know they are expensive to fix, but im not sure if they will do mechnical warrantee on such a high kms car!

And there's your answer - they won't give a mechanical warrantee on them as they know it will cost a small fortune to repair....

Avoid.

That sort of mileage those Audis love to go wrong, a friend has an S4 2004 and it's got 175kms, in the last 5k kms it's done, hes had to spend over half the value in repairs...

Besides, why not a try a 328i or 330i wagon, much more car for the money with a more reliable reputation. (slightly more $, yes, but worth it)

I've always felt the A4 range to give a 'wet fish' impression.
