Planning to change all of the interior light bulbs (excl. dash illumination) to LEDs to put out a whiter, more pure light - rather than the dated looking orange.

Personally, I don't care much for interior LEDs. Just get leather and refurb your trim. Ray's got an E39 tourer with a beautiful Individual interior. Everything's leather (arm rest, centre console, door arm rests, seats) with blue stitching. If you do something like that, it would be special! Edited by jeffbebe

For me?

E39 things don't fit me :)

Didn't mean the actual interior... Just the styling and no, not for you, for the OP!

You forgot repco brake pedals, seatbelt pads and blue LEDs plugged into the ciggi lighter.

And while you're at it why not go for a fluffy steering wheel cover and beaded seat inserts? Job done.

I went to get some cleaning products from Repco the other day and they had Angry Birds wheel covers... Almost bought one for you.

I would forever be in your debt.

Give the whole interior a clean / repair.

Remove it from the car and take a few days to get it done.

Totally worth it IMO

All the trim's out in mine (just in time for the meet today!! haha) for a sand and repaint because the wood trim was pretty faded and cracked. Still got a couple more coats to go, then lacquer and sand before it goes back in. Will post a DIY if it works!

Next re-finish the seat leather... One step at a time.

The kid's smart ... it doesn't have a BMW badge on it so he doesn't want to be seen riding it :P
