How does this car do 275hp from a 2 litre four? Thats pretty damn good. Cant wait to see how it does!

at approx. 8,400 rpm for a start

And? They've been pulling 130hp/L since 1990. Nothing new.

Combination of slide throttles, massive redline, massive fuel, tuned length inlet and exhuast, bucket and shim valvetrain, blah blah blah.

In 94 the E36 Touring car was 216kW (288hp) at around 8300 rpm, from the 1998cc S42 motor. Not really progress, is it.

Still impressive though.

172kW at about 6300 rpm. Just imagine what I might get if I could get the extra 2000 rpm out of it!

An S2000 is 240hp, with a 3 year 100,000km warranty and they're 6 years old. Peak power at 84, max engine speed, 85, sounds great.
