CSET 592 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 ^^ A man of subtlety indeed; no name, no car...! That e92 interior is just so nice... much more modern than in prior models - I know it goes without saying, but technology sure did take a jump since the e46!! Yeah, it's the first thing you notice when I first got in, side-by-side with the E46 it's worlds apart. I wasn't a fan of the wavy dash but now I think it's quite sleek. Need CIC iDrive next... You going on Sunday? Edited November 12, 2013 by Tristan
CSET 592 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Yep, there with bells on! Shame you're not bringing the e92 (I was looking forward to an oogle) but will be great to meet you! Is this the kind of thing you're after? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dynavin-DVN-E60-D99-CCC-CIC-Style-iDrive-Navigation-Bluetooth-BMW-E90-E60-E63-/261144424553?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_GPSSystems_GPSSystems&hash=item3ccd6bb069
lord_jagganath 421 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 ^ I wonder if the Dynavin unit would still have the OBC info?
Tristan 338 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Similar but would want to fit the OEM unit from the facelift models. There is one I'm negotiating now so we'll see how that turns out It didn't bother me until I spent a day driving Mum's X5 and damn, it's just so much better. Smoother, faster, more user-friendly. And looks a hell of a lot better too CCC/CIC comparison: CIC: Here's someones retrofit if it interests you: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=43578
lord_jagganath 421 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) I miss the haptic feed back. also, my cousin's '10 X5 in oz had the CCC as standard, boy does it suck. for the m3, the CIC tightens up the experience.
