Is it the price tags that won't be acceptable until 2020? The Civic Hybrid looks like a civic, which helps, they're not stunning, but "normal"... not like the Prius (shudders). Maybe they want us to think that they are from the future, hence the price.... My "electric hybrid" just looks like a sh*t old pile of crap held togehter with duct tape and cable ties (it is!)... not modern at all.... Costs under $0.35 a week in electrickery for 90km of commuting that takes me 3.75 hours. In the car takes 2.75 hours. Is that more what you're after? It looks like a normal car... In fact, it looks like a Mazda 6. Bet it's not as noisy as an F10 M5 though.
