kingkarl 136 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 very impressive. torque curve is amazing and the 7,500+ red line is good to see. Still going to miss the old N/A //M engines though
Apex 693 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 Looks like an amazing car, lots of new technoligy to help it hold its crown as best in class, most impressive part for me is the weight reduction, its not confirmed but looks to be lighter than a lot of "hot hatches" on the market, that is remarkable for a car the size of a 90's 5 Series. Well done BMW, looks to be the best M3 yet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzfvHHjaEck

michhod 26 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Being as these look like british specs, a 6 speed manual will be standard...I wonder what NZ will get as standard, flappy paddles?!
Apex 693 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Good point, seems BMW NZ thinks we all want automatic. When I went to test drive the M135i I asked for a manual car and I was told that all local stock are automatic and manual is "special order" he then went on to tell me I didn't want a manual and brushed the idea aside as if was no big deal. I hear that BMW are doing a special M4 next year to coincide with 100 years of BMW, that may be the one to look out for.
