Michaeldv 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Hey guys, i am new here so please bear with me. Decent few years back my father bought a 1987 m635csi. It had black leather interior and is 5speed manual. It has been crashed and repaired but has been sitting for about 8-9 years. Nothing was being done to it so I have decided to take up the project myself. Interior is pretty far gone so I have planned to put just 2 front bucket seats and a roll cage in it. I have fully gutted the inside bar dash and steering. Sound deadening is all out and am mid way through sanding/preping for paint. Long story short, I'm missing a few pieces and am in need of them. A rolling body would be ideal. Doesn't matter if it has a bit of rust or is de-reged, I just need various bits and pieces. If anyone has anything that would be fantastic. ssbmw 212 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 hi there, Keen to know about your dad's M6. Many years ago I put together a register of all the M6's in NZ. Not aware of your dad's car. Is it a NZ new vehicle? If it is in right hand drive, do you know what number it is out of the 524 made in right hand drive (the last 3 numbers of your vin will tell you)? Many years ago I got in touch with a guy in Sydney who just loved the E24's and was selling parts for 635csi's, M635csi's and 635csi Highlines. I bought some bits and pieces off him. Let me see if I can track his details down. Ross from BM workshop in Botany was otherwise able to get anything I needed. Otherwise the Big coupe website is a fountain of knowledge and some guys in Australia maybe able to help you. Brent on our site here is a parts specialist and should be able to help you.
