E46 M3 thoughts?

Hey guys,

Stumbled across this on trademe and thought I would gather your thoughts?
Looks to be pretty tidy.

It's been on there for a while but no idea if that's an indicator of its condition or just that the market for these is a bit slow at the moment.

Don't know the car but looks pretty tidy on the face of it - and cheap for a manual. Best to check out usual faults such as cracks in subframe, rattly cold idle (replaced vanos or not), general wear & tear. Says it's serviced by Jerry Clayton - check how regular.

160kms is getting up there, but there's another member on the forum here with one on similar k's - they're definitely around..!

I had a look at this. It's not to bad on the outside but has had a cracked subframe at some stage and has since been repaired. Also it sounded like there was some serious wear in the diff. You may aswell spend another 2-5k and get one that is farrrr tidier!!!

Always look at the care taken under the bonnet. It is a good indicator of how much a car is loved....say no more.
