WTB - water cooled alternator and ignition switch 740i 540i X5

Hi there,

I'm after the following parts for my e38 740i 1999/2000 (M62 Vanos engine)

1) Water cooled alternator. One from a 1999+ 540i or X5 would also do. Needs to be a guaranteed good working item

2) Steering column ignition switch, oem part number is 61326901962 from a 1997 onwards 740i , 750i, 540i or X5.

I wouldn't bother with a used ignition switch - they're pretty crappy, and new is about $180 I think.

Those alternators are scary expensive, are you sure you need a new one? I was told i needed a new one but it turned out the battery was knackered, much, much cheaper fix!!
