BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 Brent how big are the rims in the first pic (width and diameter) are they oem wheels? also the ones on the 635csi, those ones would look slick wrapped in low pros but depending on what diamater and width also. 18" by 8.5" non bmw , but near new alloys and tyres , pretty mint . the ones on the 635csi are 16" by 7" factory bmw e39 alloys you can also get these from a e38 , 16:" by 8" ET23 which is what i use on my bmw e38 with the semi slicks or e39 ones same style are 16" by 7" et20?

JayCee 26 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 Just a few snaps from the weekend. Driving up on the motorway was a very cool experience, can't get over how smooth she drives, suspension is certainly tight for 360,000kms. I want to re chrome the trim around the front and rear windscreen. And I am looking foward to putting on a new bmw badge Unsure how much work I will put into her until I decide to keep or on sell. Only time will tell
Tidy30 38 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 Look at that houndstooth!! Best colour combination behind blue tartan/leather On-sell and spend the money on your bagged e30? Or you think you can keep both? You did have 2 cars for a while I guess! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
JayCee 26 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Look at that houndstooth!! Best colour combination behind blue tartan/leather ;)On-sell and spend the money on your bagged e30? Or you think you can keep both? You did have 2 cars for a while I guess!Sent from my Nexus 5 using TapatalkIt is very retro interior especially with wind down windows/sunroofI have had like 3 or 4 cars at a time at one stage, my bagged e30 is going to be sold one stage this year, just going to paint bonnet body colour and change tail lights then wof and sell. Will be looking for about $15,000 for it. I really like this car but I am unsure if I wana keep it stock or ruin it with my taste of suspension, so not sure if its worth going to someone whom is wanting to maintain it as a classic or if I just suck it up and look after it. I was really wanting airbags but I dont want to take away the originality. Here is a nice 1jz swapped bagged e28 : Edited February 16, 2014 by JCBMW
NVADER 54 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 ^ That was the exact car I was about to try and find pictures of and post on here. I'd go with bags personally Those Alpina rims you posted earlier would look cool. I also think the rims on this suit the E28 really well but only in three piece and finding a set could be hard and expensive: http://stancewords.stanceworks.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/e28-schultz-wagon-estate-touring-title.jpgDepends on the look you're going for I guess. Nice car either way!
Eagle 1662 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 The car is never going to be worth alot but unless you dont mind sinking money into it or care about resale value id leave it stock( with possibly a set of nice alloys)
