aja540i 1906 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 If the paint is ok then mothers wheel and tire cleaner is good, if the paint is gone and its down to the ali then dip stripping or sand blasting is the only thing that will get them clean!!

Neal 544 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 Last one to try is dynamo laundry liquid. 1 part dynamo to 3 parts warm water. Scrub in and leave for 5 mins. Wash off. Works well for removing brake dust and chain oil contamination on my motorcycle swing arm.
aja540i 1906 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 I have used kwik strip in Avondale, if they are polished you will need to polish them again afterwards and get them clear coated to keep them nice. I have had a couple of sets stripped and powder coated, it makes them real easy to keep clean!
