amdaman 5 Report post Posted March 27, 2014 Thanks. Going into Jerry Clayton tomorrow to get some slow oil leaks sorted. Will probably fit the new front tyres soon and do tracking as well. Nothing will need doing until the oil service due in 22000km Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

amdaman 5 Report post Posted March 27, 2014 That's the dash readout that changes with how the car has been driven . I'd personally change the oil at least every 10k but I've only done 2k in this car since the inspection II 5 months ago. yng_750 247 Report post Posted March 27, 2014 Dash readout is stupid 10000 kms or 12 months. Max for an m engine Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk
amdaman 5 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Agreed. I think most people would do it much sooner. My post was more referring to having to take it into BMW at that time so you would get the dash reset, pay them for the service and get the stamp. m325i 709 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 From my experience it seems most I saw use this large service interval from NZ new (as I assume that's what the warranty allows for?). It is obviously BMW's recommendation. I have seen at least 5 NZ new cars with this kind of interval from new. This looks like a mint car and a shame it wasn't around when I was looking. GLWS! amdaman 5 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Hopefully the guys in the M Tech division knew what they were doing! JC gave me a BMW X1 as a courtesy car ha! Quite like the iDrive though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
