E36 RTAB

I was hoping someone could give me feedback on using Powerflex RTAB in an E36? I read on the Turner motorsports site that they don't recommend this as it can cause binding. My E36 has factory motor sport suspension according to the BMW Vin checker and as part of the rear end rebuild I am also looking at replacing the rear shocks, probably Konis. I have some Turner shock top mounts with reinforcing plates. Car will be for enthusiastic street use.

I ran them plus limiters - stupid and way too stiff.

Just went back to M3 bushes and limiters - good setup allowing some movement.

Any suggestions where the best place is to get some limiters? Also does anyone in NZ do Meyle bushes?

Miland do mylie bushes, check his trademe listings. I'm running nolathane ones and seems fine to me

7th Gear what make of bush do you use?

just do OEM RTAB bushes and limiters from M3_power.

Ask nice, and he might lend you the bush removal/install tool.

The lateral limiters don't control fore and aft movement so you still get some toe change

The Urethane replacement bush kit limits fore / aft and lateral which tightens up the toe dynamics

I'm no expert, but poly bushes can also induce binding, not so much on a stiff track car, but potentially more so on a softer sprung street or rally car. Not ideal.
