KwS 2425 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 Check warranty status here, https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do by inputting serial number. If it says its under warranty wither return it to Harvey Norman or call Applecare on 00800 7666 7666
_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 i dont know why the seller wouldnt do it themselves if it reaslly was under warrenty! mind you NZers on the whole arent known for thier business intelligence.
qube 3570 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 Decided not to do it. Seemed too fishy. Seller claimed hes too lazy to get it done himself.
WYT_M5 10 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 I've had a similar thing happen. Phone ended up being stolen. Ugh.

camera doctor 25 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 Smells like wtaer damage from here ........ But that is just a guess. Apple will not swap if the water damage indicators have gone - shine a light into the headphone jack, if you see pink, leave it.
qube 3570 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 the seller wasnt very helpful. i decided to leave it cuz it would have cost $550 then if all went well then i get a refurbished 5s for 550 but if all goes wrong, could cost me as much as a new 5s so no point.
