Apple iPhone refurbish experience or knowledge anyone?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Im looking to buy a iphone 5s but it has battery and charging issues

Seller claims it can be replaced under waranty as it expires in december

Wondering if its true and whether its a simple swap for a refurbed unit

No receipt but bought from harvey normal has box and harvey normal label on it

Thanks

Decided not to do it. Seemed too fishy.

Seller claimed hes too lazy to get it done himself.

Smells like wtaer damage from here ........

But that is just a guess.

Apple will not swap if the water damage indicators have gone - shine a light into the headphone jack, if you see pink, leave it.

the seller wasnt very helpful. i decided to leave it cuz it would have cost $550 then if all went well then i get a refurbished 5s for 550 but if all goes wrong, could cost me as much as a new 5s so no point.

Always ask for the IMEI, too many f**kheads with iCloud locked devices and blacklisted IMEI's.
