aw-krazy 45 Report post Posted August 17, 2014 Hi justin, ds will be off a getrag so wont fit as im pretty sure its longer than normal however if you feel like grabbing the pedal setup that would be great Any one shine some light on the fitment of the shifter setup and if they digfer from getrag to zf? BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted August 17, 2014 yes zf shifter rods are different lengths, will need to be from a e36 with a zf gearbox model like 3L M3 or 328i , and some very rare early 325i also used zf boxes . like one I have in stock etc I have had them cut and welded before , I us mac weld to do the job , or just order new ones in about $150-200 etc drivehshafts can be made also for about $300-500 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

KwS 2425 Report post Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) i had a cut and welded shifter assembly (shift rod and the main alloy arm) from a 4 banger on my old 323i, wouldnt recommend it. It was never perfect, would highly recommend tracking down a 6 cylinder shifter assembly. I eventually swapped them out, and it was much better.
