musccoo 82 Report post Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) My e30 325 with a lsd diff has a whine to it. I noticed it more recently as I was driving around with the back seats out. Its pretty constant and gets louder the faster I go, I'm assuming its coming from the diff. I also think the diff is leaking as there is a constant wetish patch on the spare wheel well. Does anyone have any ideas as to what exactly it might be? Is my diff stuffed and where is a good priced place that could service it in Auckland? Driftit 2078 Report post Posted April 24, 2015 Talk to Kayne. He just rebuilt my E30 Med LSD a month or so back. My whine was due to the input shaft bearings being totally stuffed.
