1. Is the arm meant to spin around and around absolutely freely?

2. If not, where can I get one plus the arm (front) without paying Jeffrey's prices?

So a little more than just the connector rod by the look of it also it was used in the z series e85, e86. Might have to ring around and see if any second hand one's are available.Would still be cheaper than the dealers be interesting to see what they would charge you.
