eritate 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 Hey My dad has a 320i 1993 E36 Bmw The problem is that the back windows can only be put down with the controls accesiable by the driver and front passenger.. They back windows even though there is buttons for the windows in the backseat they do no work Just wondering is there a lock or something ? Maybe fuse ? topless 13 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 there is a switch that disables the rear windows to stop kids mucking around with them. I don't know where it is in the e36 as I am not familiar with them but it is probably in amongst the window switches on the centre consol like with the e34's.. have arrowed the switch in yellow in the pic. eritate 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 (edited) umm they are around the auot gear shift there is 4 window switches 2 on each side and 1 button looks like a lock... but that doesnt work cuz you can still put down the 2 front windows... maybe that fuse has blown?
