Who times cams in Auckland?

Recommended Posts

I am currently reconditioning a head which will replace the existing one on my n46 motor.

Does anyone know who has the timing gear to setup the cams?

I heard that there is one company that comes to you, and does it at your location?

Alternatively, another option could be to take the car somewhere and get them to do the whole head swap including the cam timing.

Obviously the first option would be preferable as it would be cheaper.

Anyone know who does this?

If you buy the timing chain etc from all euro parts you can hire the tools at the same time. Usually a 3 day period of loan.

Awesome.

I have given them an email and we will see what they have.

No diy procedure on the net?

There are diy's on the net, but it still requires a special tool.

The tools are $125 to hire for five days from all euro parts.

I think thats my best option so far.
