Orange Car appeared on Dash, Headlight Bulb Replacement?

Recommended Posts

Hi Team,

The orange car light has appeared on my dash, and I am pretty sure it is one of the bulbs in the headlight compartment.

The thing is I can't seem to figure out how to change this particular bulb??

Appreciate any help :)

See pics below.

The bulb holder is directly behind the bulb you have indicated in your picture. If it's hard, take it to a service center

The right rear on our car intermittently shows up on the dash. I'll need to get it sorted before the WoF, but so far cleaning contacts and replacing the bulb haven't helped.

The earth terminals in the plugs give a lot of trouble. By pass it from the loom to the circuit board

You need to pop the hood and you can get to it from behind. You unscrew it about 30 degrees or something like that and the bulb holder slides out. Not too hard but maybe a bit fiddly/awkward.

Thanks for the advice team, does anyone know what size the bulb is? or what it is called so that I can purchase a new one?

Cheers

What I do if I'm not sure is take the old bulb into Repco/Supercheap, you can usually work it out by the writing on the bulb and look for an equivalent. The staff can help if you're not sure.
