jonoe30 53 Report post Posted February 15, 2016 Does anyone know if BMW's Brake Force Display feature is legal in NZ? My brother has E91 and my mother has E70 both with "Brake Force Display - Deletion" in the build sheets, but they are jap imports, thinking of coding it back in.I like the idea: normal braking = normal brake lights, heavy braking without engaging ABS = brake lights + rear fogs, braking with ABS engaged = brake lights + high stop and rear fogs flashingE90 ABS engaged:
M3AN 4016 Report post Posted February 15, 2016 High stop (3rd) brake light must activate with brakes under all circumstances in NZ. As long as that's the case I don't see a problem with BFD.
Matth5 471 Report post Posted February 16, 2016 (edited) My E92 does not have "Brake Force Display - Deletion" on the option list when I look it up online. It's a Jap import as well. Not sure if that means it's enabled. I've never seen that option show up on any car when I was shopping around though. Does anyone know if it's enabled by default for NZ and/or Japan?
