E30 Air Conditioning Retrofit + R143A Conversion

Hi All,

Thought I'd make a thread to document what I'm going to be attempting to do. Have purchased a complete air con system and going to install it.

It may take a while but here we go to kick things off.

Added the switch just to make myself feel good about having all the bits in the garage.

Installed the condenser and aux fan infront of the radiator.

Waiting on some relays and wiring for the aux fan and have ordered an R134A Expansion Valve. For those of you who don't know, NZPost does a good mail redirection service from the US so you can take advantage of free US shipping.

Interesting, most people go for A/C delete in an E30.

You have the easy parts sorted, now to get the dash out & fit the internals & plumbing.
