330itis 15 Report post Posted January 25, 2006 I done my one a coupala weeks ago and I replaced the nuts and I was told 120N on each bolt (my one has 8) I dont know but I dont think the bolts need replacing coz theyr prety hight tensile 12.? 330itis 15 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 If you tighten your pressure plate without the hole of the friction plate being EXACTLY in the midle and in line with the pilot bearing, the input shaft of the gearbox will never go in and youl be stuck under the car wigling the gearbox around for days and it wont go on. thats why you need an alingment tool to get it exactly center. it should be an exact replica of the output shaft.
