darrencnz 10 Report post Posted July 7, 2016 Hey guys I want to replace my spark plugs in my M52 engine and before i just go and purchase whatever the factory spec ones are, does anyone have any advice on something better? Is there another plug that is more suitable for our gas we use here or any other reason to get a different type of plug than the factory spec one? It's one of those topics that can get a range of answers but i just thought there might be someone who can advise a better performing plug for NZ fuel/conditions... NZ00Z3 187 Report post Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) I run NGK BKR6EQUP in my M52TU and M54 engines. Get them for about $20 each through trademe, Trader does not always have them listed but they come up every couple of weeks. Been told that Bosh plugs have a habit of coming loose over time in the M52 and M54 engines. Have not used Bosh plugs at all so can't confirm this from my own experience.
