Richiezhp 18 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) Finally got all the 10" wheels on but not quite their yet... can anyone recommend a good suspension set up. If I just get my standard springs compressed will this suffice? Or is there decent lowering springs out there ? i just want to sit the car a bit lower... any my help is appreciated. thanks, Edited August 27, 2016 by Richiezhp
Contrails 317 Report post Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) http://bmwdiy.info/suspension-survey/index.html Survey of E39 owners and their suspension setups. I would say if go with an aftermarket Spring & Shock setup. You have plenty of options to choose from e.g. Dinan, Eibach, H&R, Koni, Bilsteins... just don't go cheap or for the cheap chinese made coilovers. Car is looking nice btw with those wheels. WYZEUP 283 Report post Posted September 11, 2016 After installing jamex springs with the factory shocks and then going to a full new set up of H&R race springs and bilstein shocks, for the cost was worth it for the ride quality and comfort. recommend doing it all at once as the rear suspension in these is quite a pain to replace so would be beneficial to do it all at once
