Phil C 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) I'm looking to replace the original Nokia 6510 snap in adaptor in my e53 with a Apple iPhone 4/4s one. however when I look closely at ones for sale on line they look a little different. The old Nokia one is a simple rectangle shape as the later snap in adapters appear to have a taper at one end. Are they different? Does it matter? The plug part looks the same. thanks in advance. aja540i 1906 Report post Posted November 2, 2016 I'd be very wary of something with a raper at one end!!

Neal 544 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Another way other than the iPhone generic tray is to mod the Nokia tray. I modded my Nokia one to fit a iPhone 5 but didn't include a passive aerial. No issues with reception I noticed at the time. End up getting an iPhone stand and used the iPhone mount from it. used ULF for Bluetooth. Edited November 7, 2016 by Neal Pics didn't work
