Dn540 67 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 I've got a fair of foglights if you're interested. They are the round face lift type (2000(?)+)

Now you mention the type, I need to go double check the kind I have. I'll take pics today.
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted February 10, 2017 Get a kit for your vanos - easy. Oil filler and ambient sensor are cheap as chips - Milland.co.nz, or ebay.

Didn't know about Miland. Thank you for that. I've ordered a vanos kit and watched oodles of videos and read write-ups. I just want to try it on a part I don't care about before trying it on the part in my engine. This is also how I learned to rebuild calipers. I bought cheap used ones and rebuilt them, cleaned them up, painted them and sold them on at the other end. I'm not looking to buy a vanos unit to actually install into my car, just to take apart and put back together a few times to see how they work.
