Looking for some e39 bits and bobs

Recommended Posts

I'm after some bits and bobs to bring my car as close to stock as possible.

To that end, I'm after some bits and bobs listed below. I'm more than happy to pay in cash or beer.

One left fog light

Under engine plastic skid plates

Front Cup holder

Auto Shifter knob in silver and black

Good condition carpet set in black

Oil level sensor

Ambient temperature sensor

Oil filler cap

Valve cover (or whole head, see below.)

Double VANOS unit (or, a whole head top down with all the bits, bolts,
tabs and fittings)

Msport front door sill covers.

Thanks!

Gabe

I've got a fair of foglights if you're interested. They are the round face lift type (2000(?)+)

Thank you for replying!

Now you mention the type, I need to go double check the kind I have. I'll take pics today.

Get a kit for your vanos - easy.

Oil filler and ambient sensor are cheap as chips - Milland.co.nz, or ebay.

Didn't know about Miland. Thank you for that.

I've ordered a vanos kit and watched oodles of videos and read write-ups. I just want to try it on a part I don't care about before trying it on the part in my engine. :)

This is also how I learned to rebuild calipers. I bought cheap used ones and rebuilt them, cleaned them up, painted them and sold them on at the other end. I'm not looking to buy a vanos unit to actually install into my car, just to take apart and put back together a few times to see how they work.
