To restore to original condition may be a different story, but I don't know of anyone doing that commercially. I'm keen to know if anyone is doing that. The $700 price was based on someone selling a mint condition dash, and the amount they felt they might have to spend to find another in similar condition. HE did not know as he had not done a e21 before, but had just finished a e30 dash the previous week and gave me the cost of that as a comparative size and style. The number i remember is $960. i did not listen much after that as i was already looking towards carpet dash pads or the leather dash covers out of the UK.
