(I do have an E34 one, that *should* work) So I'm looking to upgrade to an OEM+ type solution as that appears to be cheaper than a standard OEM pump. I found a good write up/ discussion which suggests a TRE-340 in-tank pump is the best solution. http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=101410&start=100 should add that they do not recommend the Walbro pumps. Kodachrome 157 Report post Posted August 3, 2020 For anyone else that comes across this, its worth noting that NOT ALL E28's even have the intank fuel pump. My 525i M30 does not. Kodachrome 157 Report post Posted August 3, 2020 (edited) Lol, I did that afterwards (and are hardly conclusive anyhow!), usually I do it first but I assumed from everything I read as it was from the position of "e28's use intank + external" pumps! I'll look into putting a fuel wiring bulkhead seal in and running my own wires. Given I want to increase the power, its going to have to get a performance intank upgrade at some point regardless.
