Olaf 3342 Report post Posted March 30, 2019 Welcome, Alan! There's a lot of enthusiasm here for the e9x 335i, and a good deal of experience too. Not looking at anyone in particular Mr @Herbmiester ? Suggest you take a look at the Wellington meetups room and subscribe, we join up with any most of the BMW Car Club NZ events run around the lower north, including a mobthly pub social night first thursday of every month in Johnsonville. cheers Olaf

Herbmiester 932 Report post Posted March 31, 2019 N54 cars are tuning heaven. Best advice I can give is . Get it serviced first new plugs as well. Then get a walnut clean of the inlets (Exteme Tuning in Ngauranga Gorge can do it). Upgrade the inter cooler easy enough to do at home. Replace the charge pipe. Then load a stage 1 or stage 1+ MHD tune. Then buy an LSD. A transmission service and tune is also worthwhile. When you get to the tune stage let me know and I can advice on tune options.
