kaesark 2 Report post Posted July 2, 2019 Hi Wondering what others use to glean the window pillars with. They are not painted in a gloss paint more a full Matt same as the triangular frame the wing mirrors are attached to. Thanks

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted July 3, 2019 What year/model 320 though? Many different surfaces. And are you talking about the inside or out? If it's the outside, does regular car wash liquid not work?

kaesark 2 Report post Posted July 3, 2019 So I'm talking about the triangular metal panel that the wing mirrors attached to and the pillars that the windows slide up and down. Both are painted in a Matt Black that don't look like they get polished like rest of car
kaesark 2 Report post Posted July 3, 2019 Here is better shot showing different type of paint used different to rest of car.
M3AN 4016 Report post Posted July 3, 2019 (edited) Okay, if you want professional grade stuff probably best to talk to the guys at OCD (http://www.ocdetailing.co.nz/). You can get 'Trim Paint' online or probably from SCA or Repco which will keep it looking good for up to 18 months (?) depending on sun exposure. I've used plastic spray on some of my exterior trim and am very happy... some people use peanut butter and are happy (no sh*t). Sammo 2544 Report post Posted March 21, 2020 Thread bump, but I've had great results with Solution Finish. Goes on easy, any excess wipes off paint, gives a great rich look and last a few months. Made my shadow line window trim, wiper arms etc look like new.
