325_driver 422 Report post Posted July 27, 2019 Just taking off things to get to my CCV. And wondered if the throttle body should be angled like this . Haven't touched the inside or anything, just looked in there and I usually thought they were all the way closed normally
325_driver 422 Report post Posted July 27, 2019 And where does this Earth go? Rocker cover maybe? Just realized it wasn't connected
Eagle 1662 Report post Posted July 27, 2019 Throttle body probably normal given its DBW, once its energized it probably changes. Earth likely onto a post around the coil secured by a nut or onto top of a bolt with threads in.

The throttle body looks normal, push it open and give it a wipe out they normally collect black grime around the sealing area. All it does on the N52 is control idle and if it goes into limp mode on valvetronic failure.
