What indicators did a late E36 come with?

I'm curious to know, how do I find out if an E36 (1998) came with clear front indicators and the clear/red tail lights or the amber ones?

Sometimes it is listed on the VIN decode, S785A- white directional indicator lights.

The chance of finding a free VIN decoder these days is virtually nil.  They are all paid services.

Thanks for that, I have been out of the BMW thing for a long time, will BMW/dealers respond to a serious in-person request for the build sheet? I'm serious to make sure this car is trim-correct.

 

Or what are the paid services? Happy to pay.
