Forum not secured with HTTPS

Recommended Posts

It's pretty dodgy entering your password without encryption on this forum.

Can HTTPS be enabled?

Someone hacked the site a while ago and sent threats to the emails of some forum members

Consider using a password manager with unique passwords per account (even if the site has HTTPS) - better overall security.

Working around a fundamental security shortcoming shouldn't be necessary. This should have been addressed within days of it popping up (actually before it happened would have been smart). It's now been like this for months which reflects poorly on the owners and administrators.

But yes, don't reuse passwords.
