JRS 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2021 A while ago I bought an E34 which I love to bits, but I want to make it more of my own and I want to start with a manual swap. It's a 535i with it's factory m30b35 so I understand I'd need a 260/6 for the sake of ease and reliability. Does anyone have one and the other necessary parts available to do the swap? Not the same one, I was told he paid 2k to rebuild his gearbox. AlanB58 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2023 I have a VY Commodore which has the 260. While the case is different from the BMW case I understand the internals are the same. Mine is noisy in all gears except 4th. Can anyone tell me where you can buy parts for the 260, specifically bearings for the layshaft and possibly the input shaft?
