How the heck is diesel fuel getting into the sump? How many ways can it get in there? after the injectors have been removed and checked ok the seals are ok the fuel is standard Diesel fuel it has had a sample checked and the oil definitely has diesel in it. What other ways can it get in????

Is it an excessive amount? You can/do get some when it carries out a DPF burn off

As said, Diesel fuel in the oil is normal as long as long as it's only a small amount.

Some vehicles actually have a secondary "full" marking on the dipstick as an indicator to change the oil if the level reaches it from fuel contamination.
