what is amazing about the 6 is how good they still look.....when you look at your car and think its a 1976 model!!!!!

Saw a nice red one this morning

v nice mate, i love E24s, I might have some bmw motorsport springs that should fit if you want, I know your chassis is the same as mine, just nottoo sure on suspension, but that can be found out.

Love the gold rims. What was done by karmann?

Very nice car. Welcome. Remember to join the boys (and men) in the Wellington region for a beer and drive sometime. Always great to see different models.

HI BMW SPARKLE

THOSE TIRES ARE THE METRIC 390MM I GOT OFF YOU ON TRADEME.

AS FOR SPRINGS. SHE HAS BE PROFESSIONALLY LOWERED. SPRINGS SHOCKS ETC. THANKS ANYWAY.

KARMANN WAS THE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN GERMANY THAT INITIALLY MADE THE BIG SIXES. UNTIL ABOUT LATE 77 EARLY 78. THE VIN NUMBER IS NORMALLY THE INDICATOR. BUT THE EARLY ONES LIKE MINE HAVE A KARMANN BUILDERS PLAQUE ON THE CHASSIS. ITH THE SERIAL PRODUCTION NUMBER.

ALL INFO I GOT OFF THE NET.

MOSTLY FROM ROADFLY. AND MY FRIENDS AT BMW GROUP NZ.

YES DEFINITELY A MEMBER OF BMWCC :mosh:
