Badass Mini

Recommended Posts

Have a mini for sale.

1982 City

1000cc

4spd manual

170,000kms

The old motor got tired, so 2000kms ago we put in a secondhand motor in good condition which has been fully serviced etc - NOT A REBUILD.

Clutch, gearbox etc all been serviced and in good condition.

Paint is a bit tatty - stone chips and crazy crack on bonnet, but OK - NO RUST.

Interior is average to good condition for a vehicle of this age. No rips or tears - some cracking in vynl on sides of seats.

Cassete radio

Racing stripes are a year old - roof was painted white at the same time.

DOES NOT COME WITH PLATE

$3000ono

Serious offers only.

Pics of interior to come.

This is a good straight honest mini with no faults - just usual wear on paint and upholstery as expected for a 24yo vehicle. I have had it valued by a member of the mini club and the asking price is how much he suggested it should go for. I will take serious offers near the asking price.

I wouldn't mind having an old school 1250 cooper. You should go to www.miniracing.co.nz and advertise it on their forum, better chances of a good sale.

no such thing as a 1250 engine in a mini, ever....

849, 970, 997, 998, 1071, 1098, 1275 = factory designations.

bravo - looks like a good solid car. the 1980s ones are quite sorted.

they were back on dry suspension by this time, some were hydrolastic thru the late 60s and 70s. this i;m guessing still has the clasic cnetre binnacle or does it have the clubman style dash?

nonetheless great cars, I've had a handful of them and would own yet another in a second. good luck with the sale

It has the "newer" offset dash in front of the steering wheel. If I bought another one I'd get the classic centre dash as I think it looks cooler, but the new one is fine.
