elias 365 Report post Posted Sunday at 05:06 AM Currently have my e30 sedan up on jackstands, front and rear subframes out, essentially just the shell at this point. Want to give it a good layer of underseal, including inside the wheel arches etc before I start putting new bushings and all the suspension back in. Anyone got any reccomendations for a good underseal product? Must be able to be brushed/rolled on no spray on, don’t have the space to spray anything. Was looking at this but open to suggestions: https://premierpbs.co.nz/products/plan-brush-on-under-seal-1-5l
Driftit 2180 Report post Posted yesterday at 12:04 AM For my E30 race car I used a rubberised spray anywhere that was exposed. And a CRC seal for everywhere that I thought may harbor moisture. I tried brushing it but it looked terrible and took way too long. If you have to do it this way I would say roll it. I was spraying on jack stands in a single garage at the time. Just had to get a big fan to ventilate the place.
M3AN 4079 Report post Posted yesterday at 09:56 AM I've seen some positive talk on UK forums about this, not sure how long it lasts though? https://bilthamber.com/product/dynax-ub/ Never used it myself.
elias 365 Report post Posted 19 hours ago Cheers for the suggestions. The car appears to have the OEM applied undercoating on it in most places, so would need something that can be painted over that, thinking maybe even just a black epoxy would do the trick.
