Hi Andy,

out of e30 320i Tourist delivery 4 door car.

I suspect thats what it is, as it 11/85 reg NZ, with a MPH Speedo.

Not sure what the norm was for these cars, or what it may be worth

Savini,

it will go in any e30 car as far as i know, have had a few of these and not seen any differences in mounting.

Guest Andrew

would it fit my e30 325i,thanks

The half shaft (diff end) is slightly different - it fits - but oil spews out. Easy fix is to use small case half shaft ends.

You sure? I've never seen a difference in mounting between the small and medium case diffs, i've had 3 small and 2 medium diffs in there without any problems at all, you saying the 325's are different?

E: Medium

mounting is the same, but the half shaft splines have a different sort of little shield thing. the med case one is hard up against the place where the allen bolts joint, the small case have it half way. med case shields on small diff= diff oil flying out back

I think you guys mean the Stub axles, that go into the diff itself.

As Brent say's, you don't need to touch them, other than bolting your axles to them!!!

What we are saying is:

If you use medium case stub axles in a small case diff - diff fluid leaks.

I'll pay higher than what ever smokenbaby offers.
