bravo 35 Report post Posted September 26, 2006 (edited) They are essentially run-flats without sidewalls. When my run-flats have no pressure in them, they still support the weight of the car and you can drive on them. Increase the profile somewhat and remove the sidewalls and there you have the michelin product (In the crudest of terms). The strength lost by removing the sidewall is regained by extending the baffles/spokes unitl they make contact with the rim. Wonder how well they smoke?
