One more thought..... could be a Marrzzda lol,

Ive got my bets on VE Commie (Although not that JDM) or Mazda 6 or The new version of the GTX that has just been released, both of which are made in Yellow and Mazda got a car of the year award for the Mazda 3 didnt they???

Suzuki Swift?? That wouldn't be an Andrew car?!?!

I didn't think a yellow JDM would be an Andy car, so I wouldnt put a Swift past him.

Andy tell us, I'm curious now!

Or Gus, sicne you are Andys lover :P :P!

If its what I think it is - why? For that money you could get a better handling and performing and looking car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, but IMO they do not represent good value.

Commodore VE/VZ SS V8 at $63k rrp.

Nice choice, a mate of mine has a Swift as well, goes really good for such a lil' car! I'm a fan of the new Polo GTI turbo, got plans for one when I graduate next year. White with plaid interior, and a sunroof. Sold.

My criteria was

1.) Fun to drive + goes OK.

2.) Good on gas.

3.) Cheap to insure (Is 978/year full comp AMI)

4.) Looks kinda cool

5.) New

I drove a mini this morning also - wasn't nearly as fast. Was also weighing up tow cars etc etc. But i'd end up getting an older car.

why buy new? It certainly doesn't make financial sense.

Why not - i might take a 10 k hit over 3 years. It's hardly a biggie.

I get all the benefits of free service, roadside rescue, warrantee.

Agreed about the Ex-Demos, but most of them aren't GTi models- these are actually really in demand, and the supplier can't keep up. You won't sell it for a lot less than you paid Andrew, was probably one of the best new car purchases you could make...

They have tonnes of demo swifts for el cheapo at suzuki in greenlane.

You won't see a Sport on any yard soon. They sold the full NZ allocation in 2 weeks.

More coming in 6 months.

I'm quite happy to challenge any e30/car to a lonely track race :)
