I have a mag of an engine swap Racing Dynamics I think it was did of the V12 into a E36 Compact. The final result still weighed less than a M3 and had a 56/44 or there abouts weight distribution. The reviewer said it was even a very drivable car in cornering and the only problem they had was engine heat soak that overpowered the A/C.

That white cabrio thats in 2 of the pictures has been written off, belongs to some guy on a US forum. Pity, it was pretty dam cool, 3 litre M20 in it (i think, maybe it was 2.7), also had the 5 stud conversion done to it.

Cheers Gus, while true i don't have one, i've spent more time around them than any current owners here (i believe). My old man had 7 in a row, so i didn't really have a choice in the matter B) . I spent the ages of 8-17 crawling all over them.

Tim, cut and paste from where? www.davelength.com ?
