hybrid 1043 Report post Posted February 11, 2007 Hey guys, We all had the rare opportunity yesterday to see / photo some of the cleanest cars in the country. 4 e30 M3's of different flavours and one very rare M3 cab that were all up under the BMW club of NZ's banner for the classic car show. We all agreed that this probably wouldn't happen anytime soon. on with the show. Photos copyright josh purcell edit: spelling
BMW POWER 2 Report post Posted February 11, 2007 Very clean M3's! But Josh I think you'll find they're rare, not rear.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2007 And that set of shots, shows why people still find them desirable and worth paying big bucks for. Well done on that. What was the theme for the club this year then?
Guest Spargo Report post Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) Macao Blue one is a europa meister - still LHD with EDC and the leather wrapped interior. They had a road car and a race car of each displayed model for the theme. Edited February 11, 2007 by Spargo

He's got a lovely little treasure sitting in his shed That was outside Bavarian Motors after we finished cleaning them - Red cabby is not Rays. It is the only one in the country. Show was Concours D'elegance at Ellerslie racecourse - hence the large amount of classic/badass cars you may have seen driving around yesterday. Ghost 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 Macao Blue one is a europa meister - still LHD with EDC and the leather wrapped interior. Must have been one of the first cars to be fitted with EDC... owner is BMWCCNZ Pres. That was outside Bavarian Motors after we finished cleaning them - Red cabby is not Rays. It is the only one in the country. Show was Concours D'elegance at Ellerslie racecourse - hence the large amount of classic/badass cars you may have seen driving around yesterday. Red Cabby is from Wellington. Complete ground up restore - similar to The Alpine White e30 M3 on this board - and in the photos I presume. The cab owner also has a modified Jet Black SE. Yum. Bummer about coming forth! Jeez, must have been tough competition... Ash
