In windows.

right click on photo and select 'send to mail recipient'

you should then get a box asking if you wish to reduce the size of the photo or leave it as-is. Click make smaller

then you get a new email message with the small photo in the attachment. right click on it and select save as, choose a directory and name

cancel the new email message without saving and open the directory you just saved the small photo in and your done :)

Im sure there are other ways but this is pretty quick and you can do it with more than one obviously.

If you give a care towards the quality then you're better to use photoshop if you have it, right click on file and hit "Edit with Photoshop" then go "Edit" -> "Image Size" and reduce the size there.

Yeah I shouldve mentioned that. I only do it this way if I want to get a picture onto BS which I assumed is what you wanted to do.

I generally delete the small ones once Im done, I dont keep them for anything.

Just sign up for ImageShack, when you upload a pic on you can choose to resize it, and if its bigger then it just makes it smaller but you can still veiw it full size.

Right click on the file and open with Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Edit picture, resize or compress, I can't remember which.

Easiest way yet.

Even easier, d/l the photo reduction tool for windows, so you can right click any pic and select "resize picture" from the menu - it will give you a series of options
