Picked up - happy days!

I took pictures of my dads 2002, not my bmw but kinda close...

A few more recent photos from last week when I went for a little cruise with some friends. The rest of the tech 2 kit is still yet to be installed

So I guess this is where I should do a little write up and add all the stuff my dad has done on his 74 2002. It all began about 5 years ago when dad got the car in a dereg state that needed a full restore. Rusty sills were replaced and the full car was stripped down to bare metal, razor blades were used to scrape the layers of paint back, the car was originally green, but once we scraped off the red paint it was finally back to the bare metal. The drivers side floor was repaired too due to rust, finally making the car rust free! Unfortunitly dad didnt really get any pictures during the build of the car or of it in its stripped state. The guards were then cut and then welded to allow for the flares to be bolted on along with the BBS RS 15x8 et13 offset reps to be installed. This proved to be a bit of an issue come recompliance where an LVV Cert was also needed, this passed easily but added to the cost of the build. We managed to pick up a mint Tan leather interior out of a 635csi. This fitted in perfectly and the rear bucket seats look amazing and are amazingly comfy! The original 2L m10 single carby engine still powers it all but maybe one day in the future a twin carb setup or injected setup might be added to make the car a little easier to use as a bit more of a daily driver. The paint was chosen to be Polaris Silver, as the original 2002 turbos only came in the white or silver and my grandfather at the time owning a 1974 E9 3.0CS in polaris silver. So I guess here is the place where I will post some glamour shots of her! I have only shot the outside of the car but Im sure over time I will continue to utilize the little car as a stand in model whenever I want something pretty to take photos of! Nice E39 though, kms are a bit high but if the maintenance has been done should be no problem.

I dont have any pics of the 323 or either of the e30's however I did manage to get some glamour shots of the 2002 tonight. Its such a dream car of mine! There are only 2 people on earth who it can be sold to... me or my little brother and I reckon I have first dibbs!!!!

Let them take it for a test drive then whip it out before they collect the car! JOKING.... Selling separate - can include with sale for Bimmersport enthusiasts.

The Next Gens are the current base model Rob sells. The EVOs dont fit RHD IIRC, a deal came up for these in Au that saved me a few k on the mid range super stealths. See what happens with the port kit, seems reasonable to get the manifold done too. Pics are building up the rear end before dragging the carcass underneath and bolting it up. Size comparison to stock 135i rear discs, 1M/M3 rears and the 380mm AP's

Appreciate the kind comments everyone. The day I bought the car, on a whim, with my son March 2015. Im happy to field queries on the build likewise for the tuning aspects using JB4 and MHD alongside ethanol tuning. Had experience with Cobb Accessport earlier on too. Done heaps of heavy maintenance works on the car also, clutch, DIY stage 2 LPFP build, HPFP replacement, coding injectors, waterpump/thermo, intercoolers install, turbos, downpipes, cold'n'hot side turbo pipework including the turbo outlet stainless pipe modification, tuning the boost PID control, duty bias, PID Gain and FF on the JB4, data logging, suspension tuning & setup, required total 1M/M3 parts lists if anyone is game, driveshaft dimensions and parts required, m3 steering rack conversion, complete interior strip and re-fit Works planned for the next few months: Methanol kit installed controlled via JB4, starting evening of 23/12, the day I finish work Better exhaust system, maybe some Titanium goodness 10" & 11" Work Meister rims custom made with 265 & chubby 305 rear tires Further tuning to max out RB Next Gen turbos on ethanol E30 and methanol injection, around 25lb boost. Aiming for 550 wheel hp, circa 650 flywheel. I'll even get the car dyno'd, always good to have proof right. Likely move to a Port injection set-up and running higher E content, circa E60, including ethanol sensor integration to JB4 Suspension tuning inc. monoball front tension arm bearings Stealing some Recaro Sportsters from an E36 on the shore. Probably finish the project at this point.

A little update a year later, Welcome to the family the 100% rust free geneuine 325i coupe. That in the past year every nut & bolt has been gone over. Running brand new bilstiens all around, all new engine mounts, belts, water pump, air intake all new genuine radiator piping and all new bushings in the gear box. Its a dream come true. All I need to do now is fix and install the rest of the body kit with all the new clips that I ordered from bmw.. enjoy once this car is done you can expect a lot more photos haha

What did shipping on the cargo cover sting you? I'm trying to find one for my e36 touring

If anyone is wondering about my random plate it's a play on the the Motorsport stripes and 5.....anyway I found the original plate ugly.....
