That looks fantastic. Black grilles are a neat addition. Just needs the finishing touches and that is one hellishly tidy car! Well done.

yea i know , the guys a pretty good painter but he is a pretty busy one arm paper hanger and i dont think he had much time to do the fiddly stuff , and he knows i will .

Are you planning on removing the rear number plate holder bracket thingy?

yes just put the plate there so i could drive it on teh road , will sort later , have to drill holes in the plate to match the holes in the boot lid

This car will be strong with manual/Headers/ Re-mapp!

Nice Brent!.

yes looking forward to getting it all done , maybe it will be as quick as the old 23 year old e28 (one day) Edited by Brent HARTGE535i

just a little update ,

got the 328i in getting it converted to a manual at the moment .

found a 6.5kg m20 flywheel (off some weird model like a lhd usa 525e or something) which i am going to use with a new modified clutch to fit .with a m20 starter motor.

also while its up on the hoist and with the auto box out , we are fitting some of whaney's long headers into it .

swapping the 3.45 diff out for a 3.15 etc .

full oil service etc

looking forward to driving it .

then later will be swapping the m3 vader seats into it and some stereo gear etc .

some koni or bilstein shocks and my 17" mk alloys .

just an update .

car is now a manual , has had the headers fitted .

swapped the wheels over from my old 325i which is now gone.

swapped the electric M3 vader seats and door cards over as well.

swapped steering wheel over for smaller a airbag sports model.

fitted my stereo , have used the original boot mounted bmw amp running the factory front speakers with my jvc 6by9" speakers in the rear . biwired rear speakers , and tri wired front speakers.

jvc bluetooth headdeck with a 160gb harddrive hooked into it .

swapped the rear parcel shelf out for a one with built in rear stop light and redyed it at the same time. removed the rear pull up blind (plan on getting the windows tinted soon)

still got to do some suspension work (new shocks etc )

How much for it?

I have the same, 11 button unit as you but my temp doesnt seem to do anything.

Yeah my check button works, the display is faded on the left but you can still see the words.

EDIT: nvm, got it to work. My temp button just doesn't work very well.
